Meta Superintelligence Labs releases Muse Spark 1.3

Muse Spark 1.3 released — claims improvements in agent, coding, instruction-following and long-context evaluations. Company claims: about 20% fewer tool calls and about 25% fewer tokens than Muse Spark 1.2. The comparisons are with Muse Spark 1.2, GPT 5.6 Sol (max) and Opus 5 (max), but the post gives no numerical scores and shows them only in charts. Available in Muse Code and the Meta Model API; the weights are not released, and an open-weight release is mentioned only on the roadmap

Why it matters

MSL keeps to its closed-API route while putting agent efficiency (fewer tool calls and tokens) forward as its headline metric
