Part 1: What AI Is
All 10 lessons are open.
For computing classes, electives and clubs, and AI-focused schools: the Five-Minute AI Lessons, unfolded into 45-minute classes. Each part comes with lesson plans, student worksheets and an answer key.
A lesson takes five minutes to read. Add thinking time, the experiment and the quiz, and it fills a 45-minute class. Each step names the part of the lesson page it uses. (In a 50-minute period, give the extra time to the check step.)
Show the question in the lesson title. Students write their own guess in box 1 of the worksheet. Don't give the answer yet.
Read the explanation together (about 8 min), then do the experiment and note what you saw in box 2 (about 12 min). Go over the figure once more (about 5 min).
Students answer the three questions on the worksheet first, then you mark them together with the quiz on the lesson page and read the explanations.
Read today's line together. Students rewrite it in their own words in the last box.
Plans and worksheets appear as the lessons open. The A4 PDF is ready once every lesson in the part is open.
