Researchers release MAGG
MAGG released — a multi-agent knowledge-graph construction framework that builds an open knowledge graph without a fixed schema, using domain classifiers that derive entity and relation types directly from document content; assigns candidate triples to domain owners so that they go through evidence-matched review, governance approval and storage of audit metadata; and, at question-answering time, reuses the same ownership structure to route queries to domain-specific graph experts
Why it matters
A strand that redefines the knowledge graph of agentic systems from a "flat store of extracted triples" into an object of governance that records who owns a fact, why it was adopted and how it should be used. In the authors' own reporting, on SciERC it improved strict-triple F1 by 47% and mapped-triple F1 by 51% over flat insertion; in a blind review of 120 triples, governance-approved triples more often had source evidence; and on MuSiQue it led Microsoft GraphRAG by 9.0 points in exact-match and 11.2 points in token F1.
