Released Mojo 1.0 and, on Aug 18, 2026, open-sourced the entire compiler, tooling and standard library under Apache 2.0
Why it matters
The language is stabilized and fully opened 3 years after its 2023 announcement. An alternative language to CUDA C++ offers a production-grade stability contract for the first time
