WEF names 23 new Global Lighthouse Network sites

Announced 23 new Global Lighthouse Network sites. By its tally, 94% of successful transformations combine multiple technology domains, and deploying AI on its own is rare. None of the 23 new sites is semiconductor-specific, and none is in Korea

Why it matters

Quasi-standard evidence, tallied across 220 sites, that adopting AI on its own does not deliver results. On the other hand, the absence of back-end sites signals that this benchmark is hard to apply directly to OSATs
